Broad steel knife blade ground off at the top to a wedge shaped point, etched with a band of floral ornament and inscribed 'Do not open me without cause' and 'Victorious in honour' and 'Made by Pedro of Madrid'. Mounted in a handle overlaid with plates of horn and brass bands, the horn inlaid with ivory discs and brass studs.
